Track protein in grams per kg of body weight as you age

Added

The PROT-AGE Study Group position paper gives specific protein targets for older people. Divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 to get kilograms, multiply by your target, and set your macro tracker to that number. It was written for adults over 65, so treat it as a preview if you're a bit younger.

The result

Result: PROT-AGE: an average of 1.0-1.2 g protein per kg of body weight per day for healthy adults over 65, higher with illness; people with severe kidney disease are an exception.

Note: Not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before changing your training, diet, or supplements.
