Find running trails near you
Type your ZIP code and we’ll give you links to search for trails and paths in your area. We don’t keep our own trail list. The links take you to other websites, which do the searching.

These are home pages only. Search for your area once you’re there. Some features may need a free account.
On our own tips: Run Raleigh’s Capital Area Greenway trails and Scout travel runs with Strava’s Global Heatmap.
Before you head out
- Check the weather and trail conditions first. Trails can be closed, wet, icy or muddy.
- Plan to finish in daylight. If you run at dawn or dusk, wear bright clothes or a light.
- Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back. Carry your phone.
- Trail details come from other websites and may be out of date. Check with the park or trail owner for closures and rules.
- Not medical advice. Talk to your doctor before changing your training.
How the ZIP lookup works: when you press the button, your browser asks the free Zippopotam.us service which place your ZIP code belongs to, so we can show the town name. If that doesn’t work, you still get the links. Nothing is saved by us.
