Use MissingMoney.com to search unclaimed property in other states

NAUPA, the association of state unclaimed-property programs, says most states take part in MissingMoney.com, a free site that searches participating state databases at once. Worth doing if you've lived, worked, or banked outside North Carolina.

Result: One free search covers most participating states. NAUPA also lists each state's official program if you'd rather search state by state.
